Reno, NV — A Sonora man was killed after being hit by two cars in a Reno crosswalk.
The Associated Press reports that 71-year-old Charles Heinemann of Sonora was crossing North Virginia Street at 5:30pm Saturday and was hit by a 20-year-old intoxicated driver. Heinemann was then immediately struck by a second car that was behind the vehicle that caused the accident.
Heinemann was pronounced dead at Renown Regional Medical Center. The intoxicated driver, who is from Reno, was arrested.
