Truckee, CA — A 4.7 magnitude earthquake was reportedly felt in areas of the Mother Lode last night.
The U.S. Geological Survey, which tracks earthquake activity, says the epicenter was approximately 23 miles northwest of Truckee. The quake happened at 11:37pm, and there were numerous aftershocks.
Also in the Bay Area this morning, there was a 3.6 magnitude quake in Berkeley.
