Valley Springs, CA — A Valley Springs man faces a list of charges after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend.
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department says that 53-year-old Richard Coelho broke into his ex-girlfriend’s residence at an undisclosed area of Valley Springs and threatened to kill her.
Coelho allegedly assaulted her with a taser and placed her in handcuffs. Coelho eventually let the woman go and fled the home.
He was later tracked down in Manteca by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. He now faces charges of burglary, kidnapping, inflicting corporal injury, and assault. The attack was reported late Wednesday night.
