Sonora, CA — It was a winning night for the Sonora Wildcats.
In high school football playoffs Friday night, Sonora beat Bear River 42 to 20. Wildcats running back Brandon Camara broke the single game rushing record with 317 yards and 5 touchdowns. Next week Sonora travels to Escalon to face the undefeated Cougars in round two.
In other scrores last night, Escalon beat Marysville 49 to 7 and Liberty Ranch beat Calaveras 48 to 35.
