Jamestown, CA – A teenager from Jamestown suffered major injuries in a rollover accident last night on Kewin Mill Road.
The CHP reports that 18-year-old Traylin Thatcher was driving southbound north of Big Hill Road and lost control of his 1984 Toyota pickup going into a curve. The vehicle went off the west edge of the roadway, overturned, and hit a large tree. Thatcher was trapped in his truck until he was assisted by good samaritans that came across the accident. Thatcher was later air-lifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of his injuries.
The accident happened Sunday evening shortly before midnight.
