City Council Will Hear Reports

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will hear reports from both Comcast and T.U.D. tonight.

Comcast representative Philip Arndt will speak about the Comcast expansion. The company plans to start offering high speed internet and phone service in the City on December 6. It will also be offered to most of the unincorporated communities in Tuolumne County.

T.U.D. General Manager Pete Kampa will later speak about the district’s plans to increase water rates. A T.U.D. vote on the rate hike is scheduled for December 7th.

The Sonora City Council meets at 5pm at City Hall.
