Tuolumne, CA — If everything stays on schedule, Black Oak Casino could open its new hotel by late next year.
Construction crews are out moving dirt south of the main entrance in preparation of laying the hotel’s foundation. “If the current dry weather continues, construction will start this winter,” says Casino General Manager Ron Patel. “It is an exciting time for the Tribe.”
There will be 150 rooms spread across three levels. It will also include a conference center that can accommodate 200 people, and a restaurant.
Patel says the Tuolumne Band of Mi Wuk Indians still has plans to construct a nearby golf course as well, but says that project is likely a few years away.
