A Soulsbyville man was killed in Friday afternoon’s accident on Tuolumne Road North, near the Marantha Road intersection.
The CHP reports that 63-year-old Harold Goodwin allowed his 2005 Subaru to drift off the roadway and travel down an embankment. The vehicle collided with a concrete retaining wall. Goodwin was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
