The Sierra Nevada snowpack, which as of January 1st was at 85% of average, may see some new snow this week.
There is a slight chance of snow showers above 7500 feet on Wednesday night. The showers will continue into Thursday morning above 7000 feet.
More snow is expected in the high country on both Saturday night and Tuesday morning of next week.
