A series of disturbances will move through the area with no significant impact until Thursday night through Sunday.
Tonight’s system will bring a few light showers to the Motherlode and a couple of inches of snow to the high Sierra through Wednesday.
The strongest systems will arrive on Thursday night and continue through the weekend.
One to four inches of rain could fall in the Motherlode from Friday through Sunday.
Two to five feet of snow accumulation is expected at and above 7000 feet.
Snow levels will fluctuate from 3500 to 6000 feet over the three day duration.
Gusty winds will be a possibility but not be as strong as the recent storms.
The wet weather may continue into early next week.
