San Andreas, CA — It was a packed house Tuesday as the Calaveras County Supervisors discussed the General Plan Update during the morning session.
Discussion continued for three hours and topics included water, individual community plans, and making sure that information about the General Plan is on the county website.
“The public review draft will be out during the middle of February and there will be a series of community workshops to solicit input on the different alternatives,” says Board Chair Merita Callaway. “The Board will have to pick an alternative and when that’s done, it will go out for an Environmental Impact Report.”
The General Plan serves as a road map for growth and should be completed in 2011.
