Sonora, CA — An Oakdale resident pulled over for speeding was arrested for far more than she bargained.
51 year old Cindy Conrad was stopped for speeding by Deputy Michael Pershall of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 1am today on Tuolumne Rd. near Lambert Lake Rd.
Pershall ascertained the registration tags on the license plate to be false and improperly installed.
When Conrad consented to a search of the vehicle, Pershall noticed that she attempted to hide something under her shirt. Pershall retrieved a small photo book from her waistband area that contained marijuana and approximately 3.8 grams of methamphetamine. Also found was a second container with .3 grams of meth and hydrocodone tablets.
Conrad was arrested for possession and displaying false registration tags.
