Sonora, CA – A representative from Caltrans updated the Tuolumne County Supervisors about stage two of the East Sonora Bypass Tuesday.
Project Manager Joy Pinne says construction is scheduled to begin in December of 2010 with completion around December of 2012.
In order to keep the project within its $65 million budget, plans were dropped to create a westbound off ramp and eastbound on-ramp near Peaceful Oak Road.
Stage two will run from Standard/Peaceful Oak Road to Via Este.
Contractors will be able to place bids for work beginning in August.
