Wet and windy weather is expected in the Motherlode from late Saturday night through Monday.
An inch of rain or more is expected by Monday. A foot or more of snow accumulation is expected in the Sierra Nevada.
Wind gusts in the Motherlode could range from forty to forty-five mph. In the Sierra, gusts could reach fifty mph.
