Angels Camp, CA – The public will have a chance to give input on the realignment of a five mile stretch of Highway 4 between Copperopolis and Angels Camp.
The Calaveras Council of Governments and Caltrans will be hosting a public workshop on May 25th at 6pm at the Bret Harte High School Auditorium.
“This will be a great opportunity for the public to provide us some additional input on what they would like to see out there as we move forward with the project,” says Tim McSorley, CCOG Executive Director.
The stretch is often referred to as the “Wagon Trail,” and features severe curves. Intersecting roads include Pool Station, Appaloosa, Hunt and Stallion.
