San Andreas, CA – Multiple motorcycle accidents were reported in Calaveras County over the weekend.
Saturday afternoon at 1:35pm, 51-year-old Francisco Jauregui of Sacramento was riding on Hwy 49 north of Poverty Gulch Lane when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson and crashed the bike onto the gravel shoulder. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to Sutter Amador Hospital.
Saturday afternoon at 1:55pm, three motorcyclists were coming up to an earlier accident that occurred on Hwy 4 east of Hunt Road when they lost control and rolled their bikes. 27-year-old Gilbert Solano of Turlock was taken to Mark Twain Saint Joseph’s Hospital with minor injuries. Suffering minor injuries but refusing medical treatment were 34-year-old Steven Munoz of Fremont and 28-year-old Isaac Martinez of Modesto.
Sunday evening at 5:30pm, 39-year-old Craig Alan Kaiser of Linden was riding on Hwy 4 east of Linden Road when he lost control of the bike and collided with a dirt embankment. He suffered minor injuries, but did not seek medical aid.
Sunday evening at 5pm, 18-year-old Kenneth Hawes of Wilseyville was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident on Old Toll Road.
