Angels Camp, CA — A Bear Valley man suffered major injuries in a motorcycle accident on Murphys Grade Road Tuesday afternoon.
42-year-old Gregory Jay Peterson lost control of his Ducati going into a turn near Lower French Gulch Road and ended up riding into a nearby creek.
He was found unconscious when officers arrived and initially the CHP labeled it a possible fatality. That was later downgraded to major injuries. He was transported to Doctors Memorial Hospital in Modesto. The accident occurred at 1:35pm.
