Sonora, CA — Electricity rates will be going down this summer for PG&E customers.
Company Spokesperson Nicole Liebelt says the average bill will drop by three percent beginning June 1st.
The rate decrease has been approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. During the summer months, electricity bills can sometimes soar due to triple digit temperatures and the need to run an air conditioner.
