Sonora, CA — The City of Sonora is set to approve the 2010-11 fiscal budget tonight.
City Administrator Greg Applegate says proposed General Fund spending is $4.1 million.
“Depending on what the state of California does, when and if they pass their budget, we may have to go back in and make adjustments,” says Applegate. “Hopefully that’s not the case and the state will not go after local government to balance the budget on our backs.”
There will also be a closed session to discuss the hiring of an interim City Manager. The Council meeting begins at 5pm at Sonora City Hall.
