Sonora, CA — There are many transportation projects being planned for Tuolumne County.
Tuolumne County Transportation Council Executive Director Darin Grossi and Transportation Planner Melissa Eads are the guests on Mother Lode Views this weekend. One discussion topic will be the recently completed Columbia Circulation Improvement Plan. It lists the top 15 priority projects that would benefit Columbia. The first priority is a study to look at the feasibility of constructing a Parrotts Ferry Road Bypass.
“There have been a number of different alignments that have been proposed over recent decades,” says Grossi. “We’d basically look at what will be the most viable alignments considering traffic needs, engineering, right of way, environmental factors and costs.”
The two will also talk about development of a Regional Blueprint that will look at preferred growth patterns in the county.
