San Andreas, CA — 21,760 marijuana plants were eradicated in Calaveras County yesterday.
Members of the Calaveras Narcotic Enforcement Unit, California Department of Justice , Campaign Against Marijuana Planting Team, Alpine County Narcotics Team and Department of Fish and Game conducted a marijuana eradication operation on two large marijuana grows in the Sheep Ranch and Calaveritas area.
Officials estimate that all plants seized during the eradication operation have a street value in excess of 10 million dollars. No suspects were contacted, identified or arrested.
