Angels Camp, CA – One juvenile has been arrested and another suspect remains at-large following a high speed chase in Angels Camp.
Angels Camp Police Department officers located a stolen vehicle at 4:30pm yesterday in the area of Highway 49 and Whittle Road. The officers attempted to stop the 2004 Toyota Tundra and a reckless pursuit ensued through the City of Angels Camp. The pursuit came to an end near the intersection of Vallecito Road and Highway 4 when the stolen vehicle was crashed. Two suspects fled on foot into a field. One juvenile male was caught, but the only other suspect in the vehicle was able to escape. The outstanding suspect is described as a tall, white male, wearing a black long sleeve shirt with black shorts.
