Sonora, CA – Motorists can expect delays for the rest of this month at several ramps along the Highway 108 Bypass.
Caltrans reports that ramps from Mono Way to Hess Avenue will be impacted due to the pavement project. Scheduled for closure are the Mono Way, Hess Avenue and Phoenix Lake Road ramps. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 28. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work began on Monday with grinding and paving being done from Sanguinetti Road to the Mono Way on ramp.
Various ramps are scheduled to be completely closed the week of June 17, according to Caltrans, to allow crews to apply a sealant to the pavement. During the week of June 24, work will continue, but the ramps will be open.
Motorists should expect delays of 5 to 10 minutes throughout the three-week project and may need to plan to take an alternative route.
