Thunderstorms are rolling through the Sierra Nevada this afternoon from Lake Tahoe to Kings Cayon National Park.
A Flash Floood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Alpine and El Dorado counties until 7pm.
Street flooding is being reported in South Lake Tahoe along Highway 50.
Clusters of thunderstorms are also affecting the mountains from Yosemite to Sequoia National Parks. These thunderstorms will probably continue for the next couple of hours.
If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy building. Also avoid streams and creeks during heavy thunderstorms as they can become sudden killers.
