Lowe’s Construction Moving Along

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Lowe’s project is moving right along.

“Lowe’s is beginning to pour their foundation, and the roof is basically up,” says City Administrator Greg Applegate. “We’re still hoping that they will be open before the holidays. That’s a very rapid schedule, but we believe it is still achievable.”

The company plans to hire around 120 employees. Crews are also working on the realignment of Old Wards Ferry Road.
