Mariposa, CA — Three were killed in a deadly accident in Mariposa County over the weekend.
The CHP reports that 18-year-old Marissa Fuqua was traveling east on Highway 140 near Colorado Road when she allowed her Ford Bronco to cross over the double yellow lines. She first collided head-on with a Harley Davidson Motorcycle and then a Ford Escape. Two unidentified Chowchilla residents on the motorcycle were killed, as was the unidentified driver of the Ford Escape. Fuqua and three passengers in her vehicle suffered moderate to major injuries. The CHP is investigating the incident.
