Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors are submitting an application for a Sustainable Communities Planning grant.
The application will be submitted with other entities, including Calaveras County, Amador County, T.U.D., CCWD and the Tuolumne County Transportation Council. Earlier this week the Sonora City Council unanimously voted not to participate over fears that it could create additional government bureaucracy. The plan would be designed to create a roadmap for sustainable growth. Funding is available through state Proposition 84.
