Update at 9:35am: Officials have successfully moved all of the wood to the side of Highway 108/120, so the roadway is now clear. The incident occurred near a blind curve, so use caution this morning traveling in that area. You will notice ongoing activity.
Original story posted at 9:25am: Knights Ferry, CA — There is a major big rig truck incident on Highway 108/120 near Lancaster Road.
The area is west of Knights Ferry. The CHP reports that a truck just lost an entire load of wood on the eastbound lane. There are pallets scattered throughout the road. You will want to avoid that area if possible and be prepared for a delay.
