Sonora, CA– Tuolumne Utilities District will continue trenching work on the lower section of Big Hill Road this week.
Residents can expect traffic delays between 7 am and 5:30 pm on Big Hill Road near Saw Mill Flat Road starting Monday, August 30th and will continue through Friday, September 3rd. There will be one-way traffic control with flaggers directing traffic. Motorists should expect traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.
Since many of the roads in the project area are narrow, windy and steep, the District is asking residents to be patient and understanding so that the Contractor can progress as quickly as possible.
