Sonora, CA – Various off and on-ramps on the Highway 108 Bypass from Mono Way to Hess Avenue in Sonora will be closed two days this week due to Caltrans work.
The Mono Way, Hess Avenue and Phoenix Lake Road ramps will be shut down as part of a paving project. Work began last week and continues on Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day. Crews will be applying sealant to the new pavement. Motorists can expect five to ten minute delays on those days and should find alternative routes, according to Caltrans.
As earlier reported, the project is slated to run through Friday, June 28th. Caltrans relays that all ramps will remain open during the last week of June and ask that travelers obey all flaggers and ramp signage during that time.
