Household Hazardous Waste Event

Sonora, CA– The Tuolumne County Solid Waste Division is urging Tuolumne County residents to protect the environment and to get rid of unwanted household hazardous waste.


Unwanted items such as paints, pesticides, herbicides, contaminated oil, gasoline, glues, pool chemicals and non-empty aerosol cans can be dropped off for free disposal at the last Household Hazardous Waste Event for 2010 this Saturday, September 18th.


Drop off locations and appointments can be obtained by calling 1-800-811-2435. For more information call the Tuolumne County Solid Waste Division at 209-533-5588.
