Sonora, CA– It’s the anniversary of the signing of our U.S Constitution today and two local veterans groups in Sonora are sponsoring an event downtown.
From 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, the Joint Americanism Committee of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3154 and the American Legion Post 58 will be featuring patriotic music, a Constitution video and even birthday cake in Courthouse Park across the street from the Veterans Hall.
Our country’s Constitution was signed September 17, 1787.
