Cause Of Standard Fire Unknown

Standard, CA — Fire officials were not able to determine the cause of a small vegetation fire that started outside Curtis Creek Elementary School Tuesday afternoon.


It burned a spot of grass, and no buildings or structures were damaged. Three CAL Fire Engines from Standard responded and quickly put out the fire. The fire was first reported at 1:33pm and officials were on scene until 3:27pm.
