Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors have approved short term loan requests from Area 12 Agency on Aging and Mother Lode Job Training until the state passes its budget.
The agencies have temporarily stopped receiving funds from the state, so Tuolumne County has agreed to a short term loan up to $53,064 for Area 12 Agency on Aging and a $55,385 loan for Mother Lode Job Training. The vote was 5-0.
The Calaveras County Supervisors are taking up similar loan requests today. The County will be reimbursed after the state passes its budget, which reportedly could be late this week.
