Woods Creek Park Renovation

Sonora, CA — Woods Creek Park in Sonora is undergoing a facelift.

The City of Sonora received approximately $200,000 in state Proposition 40 funding to replace the existing playground equipment, make improvements to the picnic area and improve accessibility. Rachelle Kellogg with the City of Sonora reports that the park was closed down this morning and will remain closed through December.

Woods Creek Park is located off Highway 49/Stockton Road on Woods Creek Drive.
