Sonora, CA — As part of its new Fire Initiative in 2019, the Tuolumne County Supervisors are asking local residents to apply for a seat on a committee in development.
The Fire Safety and Community Resilience Citizens Advisory Committee will consist of seven members, one from each of the five supervisor districts, and two at-large representatives. They will be tasked with weighing in on fire related items, and encouraging local communities, and volunteers, to address fire safety. The committee will meet regularly.
There is not a formal deadline to submit an application, but as soon as the board receives a significant number, it will start making appointments. To find a link to the application form, click here.
