Sonora, CA– Next week the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will meet in a special session to debate land use policies.
On the agenda will be the consideration of adopting a plan calling for the coordination of land use decisions between county, state and federal agencies. Back in September, a revised version of District Three Supervisor Teri Murrison’s original 80 page plan was submitted to the board.
The new version prepared by Community Development Director Bev Shane and county staff has 21 pages. Both plans are designed to establish principals and policies regarding the effect of the uses of federal and state lands in the county.
The Supervisors will hear details about the competing plans this Monday at 3:00 pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.
