Arnold, CA — A Mountain Ranch man was arrested following a collision on Highway 4 near Manuel Road in Arnold.
The CHP reports that 65-year-old Jose Guzman Jr. rear-ended a truck that was waiting to turn off of Highway 4. The truck that Guzman Jr. hit was propelled off the road and into a tree. Guzman Jr. was not injured, but the driver of the second vehicle, 18-year-old Tyler West of Valley Springs, suffered minor injuries, as did a 15-year-old passenger from Valley Springs. Both were taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. The accident was reported at 3:03pm on Saturday.
