District One Tuolumne County Supervisor Liz Bass talks about balancing the different community opinions in her new myMotherLode.com blog entry. Bass writes about how she described herself as a “pro-community candidate” when running for the Sonora City Council in the 1990’s, but adds that it is more difficult to define the idea of being pro-community as a Board of Supervisor because there are many communities with different identities and opinions.
