Sonora, CA – Provisional ballots from the November 2nd General Election are still being counted in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
Tuolumne County Clerk Debi Russell says the remaining 500 provisional ballots will be tabulated on Monday, and the final results should be certified by Wednesday. Some races are still too close to call, including the Measure H and Measure G School Bond Measures and a seat on the Big Oak Flat Groveland Unified School Board.
The Calaveras County Elections Office is also counting the final absentee ballots that were dropped off at polling locations Tuesday. The votes should be counted by late today or Monday. For the latest results click on the Elections Page.
