Calaveras Community Foundation Awards Grants

Angels Camp, CA– Eleven local groups in Calaveras County have been awarded a total of $19,398,32 in the first round of 2010 funding by the Calaveras Community Foundation. The funds will be used for programs focusing on music, the arts, youth, health, history, seniors and veterans.


Grants awarded in this first round went to Copperopolis Community Center, Calaveras Community Band, Valley Springs Community Arts and Music Association, Studio 4 Dance Theatre, Proactive Parkinson’s Project, Mt. Ranch Youth Alliance, San Andreas Halloween Carnival, Mokelumne Hill Historical Community Trust, Calaveras County Historical Society, Calaveras County Seniors Center and Jenny Lind Memorial District.


The Calaveras Community Foundation has awarded more than $287,000 grants and scholarships since 2001. CCF is the only non-profit organizations in the county funding neighborhood and countywide groups that provide a variety of services at the grassroots level.
