Power Outages Continue Across Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — 7,900 PG&E customers are without power in Tuolumne County this morning. Specific details about the individual outages are currently not available, but PG&E reports that most of the greater Sonora and Groveland region should be restored by around noon.


Customers affected in Phoenix Lake, Cedar Ridge, Twain Harte and Tuolumne are expected to be without power until around 6pm today. Some areas may be without power for an even longer period. In Calaveras County there are around 3,000 customers without power. The outages are primarily affecting West Point, Dorrington and Mokelumne Hill. Restoration is expected by around 3pm.
