Power Remains Out For Many

Sonora, CA — As of this morning, Tuolumne County still has 5,500 PG&E customers without power and Calaveras County has around 4,500.

The largest are in Twain Harte, which has 3,000 customers out, East Sonora (Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge) has 2,400 and Arnold has 3,700.  Over half of the outages are expected to be restored this afternoon and evening, and the others are expected to carry into Wednesday.

“We continue to work around the clock, and are still experiencing some access issues,” says Jana Morris, PG&E Spokesperson. “We’re continuing to restore customers this morning and will continue until we restore every last customer.”

Customers that would like to report an outage or receive information on a specific neighborhood can call 1-800-PGE-5000.
