Copperopolis, CA– A female passenger on a motorcycle was killed this afternoon on Highway 4 and Pool Station Road just east of Copperopolis.
According to Rebecca Myers of the San Andreas CHP, the accident happened shortly after 2 pm. The accident involved a husband and wife, both 69, who were riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Initial reports indicated that the motorcycle collided with a van, but Myers says it is possible that the accident was a solo incident. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The husband and driver of the motorcycle, suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Modesto hospital.
