Tuolumne, CA – An Oakdale man was arrested after being pulled over on Tuolumne Road this morning.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that 54-year-old Nicholas Peabody was traveling too fast for the stormy conditions and was pulled over near the Morris Road intersection at 1:20am. A Sheriff’s Deputy noticed that Peabody had signs of drug abuse, such as unusual sweating, trembling hands and the inability to answer questions. Peabody was arrested and booked into Tuolumne County Jail after he was determined to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.
