Update: Vegetation Fire In San Andreas

Update at 4:40pm: The forward rate of spread has been stopped on the so-called Sesame Fire burning in Calaveras County near the intersection of Sesame Street and Hawver Road. That area is in San Andreas. The fire is estimated to be 1-2 acres and no structures were damaged.

Original story posted at 4:15pm: San Andreas, CA — Firefighters are working to extinguish a roughly ½ acre vegetation fire on Hawver Road near Sesame Street in San Andreas.

The fire is burning at a slow rate of spread and there are no immediate reports of any structures being threatened. Be prepared for activity in the area.
