Sonora, CA — The supervisors in Tuolumne County will vote on hiring the firm Lionakis Architect to help develop a plan for the three remaining parcels of land at the Law and Justice site off Old Wards Ferry Road.
At Tuesday’s board meeting the supervisors will vote to pay the company $188,710 to create a programming document for the Criminal Justice Partners. It includes assessing future services and staffing needs, providing recommendations for use of the three parcels, creating cost estimates for new facilities and outlining work that would be needed on Gardella Ranch Road.
The property currently features the Mother Lode Regional Juvenile Detention Facility and a transit hub. In addition, as reported earlier, construction is well underway on the new county jail and the Tuolumne County Superior Court building.
As indicated previously, the supervisors will also vote Tuesday to hire Cole Przybyla as the Economic Development Director. The meeting begins at 9am.
