Sonora, CA — Some changes are in store after two weeks of unseasonably dry weather and warm temperatures.
The National Weather Service says the Mother Lode region can expect cooler temperatures over the next several days with showers possible this afternoon.
Precipitation associated with this weather system is expected to be generally light and snow levels relatively high. Several inches of snowfall is projected to accumulate in the highest elevations of the Sierra Nevada with snow levels remaining at around 7,000 ft.
