Calaveras County, CA — Following two consecutive days of testing, the water has been deemed safe to drink for 800 Calaveras County Water District Customers in Rancho Calaveras.
We reported yesterday that a boil water notice was put in place after the customers experienced a water service outage due to a large leak in an 8-inch water service transmission line. CCWD reports that the tests show that the potable water supply meets all the state and federal safety requirements. District staff is hand delivering flyers this morning to all impacted customers alerting them that the notice is lifted.
