Pinecrest, CA — The Sierra ski resorts are enjoying the fresh snowfall.
“We’ve gotten around 55 inches of snow this week,” says Emily Fisher, Dodge Ridge PR Manager. “Its here just in time for the holiday weekend.”
Meanwhile, Bear Valley estimates it has received well over two feet of new snow in the past week.
“We had a drought in January and needed some snow, so it is great to see,” says Martin Wegenstein, Bear Valley CEO. “The ski conditions right now are fantastic.”
Both resorts expect to attract extra visitors from the Central Valley and Bay Area this weekend because many will be off work and school Monday because of President’s Day.
